The
Whitehorseranch is growing steadily. We now have 20 Buildings and more
and more People discover us and rent the Ranch for Movie Projects The Ranch is located in the Mojave Desert -
in Landers, California about 35 miles north of Palm Springs . You can
meet real old west characters like the Mojave Muleskinners,Lawdogs
n Ladies, Gunfighters
For Hire, or the infamous "Soapy Smith"
(Great Grandson of the real con-man) doing his shell game or Phil Gessert's Pharo and Roulette Tables.
We rent out props from spittoons to guns and
wagons, anything Old West. We can provide authentic Characters as
extras as well as horses and cattle. The Whitehorse Ranch is a
gathering place for anybody interested in the Old West. The Ranch is
renovated and decorated in the 1870's style. Most weekends there is
something going on: campfire cooking, reenacting, encampments or just
socializing & telling the tallest of tales. We now have Whitehorse Saloon ,Chapel, Chinese Laundry, Barn,
Gallows, Restaurant, Hotel, Tivoli Club, Saddle shop,
Blacksmith, Doc's Residence, The Gazette, Bank, Gun Shop, Undertaker,
Marshall's Office, Ranch House, Water Tower, Jail, General Store and
the Doctors Office. Construction on the movie set is ongoing and we
always need old building materials. Thanks to all that have contributed
in the past, especially Jake, Greg,Terry, Lucky Sumtymes and Luziana Liz for
substantial timbers to build the Whitehorse Saloon. Judge Geraldo and
Miss Nellie Belle for their tremendous help and special friendship,
Smokey Jack for loads of old lumber and the loan of his chuck
wagon,Tony Ritter (fastest Nailgun in the West) and lots of others too
